I'm in Poland (my wife is Polish) and let me say this, I've seen a few posts now talking about "Ukraine should stage a Russian attack on Poland" or some of y'all hoping that WW3 starts up.

Unless you can prove to me that you're on a flight to a country neighboring the Ukraine and ready to cross borders to help them fight the Russians....


....shut the entire fukk up. Stop with the tough typing. NOTHING is stopping you from joining the fight physically.

This shyt is tragic and complex and ugly and not fair, but seriously - either physically join the fight or stop this WW3 peddling. Only the people fighting get to tell me shyt, people just typing in between playing videogames and watching porn should not. If you want WW3 and you're not joining the fight right now, you're worse than cowardly.

I’ve been there done that, I can say whatever the fukk I want. If Ukrainians are smart they would do that for world watching being massacred live by the Russians and no doing anything… I’ll take everyone with me.

The real problem is, even when Russia installs their new government.....it won't mean anything. There's no rift here. Ukraine wants to remain independent. Russia will have to occupy this country and they just can't do it. Ukraine is too big.

Putin must have really believed Ukraine would give up and just accept it. Unbelievable.

And the Russian losses are going to be staggering. They're going to have to kill every man in that country to end this. There's just no fathomable result here for them.

This is something that's amazed me about history and the "conquerors" throughout time and vast lands they controlled

Putin is holding back. He has not yet used:

1. Any strategic bombers like Tu-22M, Tu-95 or Tu-160
2. Any EW/AWAC/ground command planes like Tu-214, A-50, Il-80
3. Much artillery at all beside a few SMERCH rockets

Also US intelligence has stated Russia is using 1/3rd of their force. It’s weird the way Russia is waging this war. When it came to Syria they went all out using their firepower. Russia underestimated the collective will of the Ukrainian people. The fact they haven’t even used their cyber capabilities to shut off the internet or the electrical grid. It’s still early and Russia is advancing the south. But Putin is facing a lot of unnecessary cost. If he thinks holding his military back will win him some points with the Ukrainian people is delusional. The people hate Russia since 2014. If he installs a puppet govt in Kiev and withdraws Russian military forces that puppet govt will collapse faster than the Afghan govt.

They don't want to get a bunch of troops bogged down like Afghanistan, nor do they want to go in bombing - although it looks like they are going to end up doing both anyway. They really just wanted to go with as little as possible, take Kiev, depose the President and put in a puppet government - strategically, having to go "all-in" is a huge blow and not a decision that can be taken lightly.
