Russia going after journalists again

RFE/RL said Kurmasheva, who is based in Prague, has been charged with failure to register as a foreign agent, a designation Russia requires of any organizations or individuals that it perceives as receiving foreign funding. It has been used to target journalists and people who speak out against the Kremlin.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, said RFE/RL, which is a U.S. government-funded media company.

on the surface this doesn't seem unreasonable. i wish all these chinese and russian backed media people running around freely in america had to register as foreign agents.

some have to register now but didn’t until recently(understandably after what has been going on)

It’s partially state funded but that’s where it ends man. It’s more similar to Reuters. Trump probably was having issues extorting Qatar.
