What we're covering

  • A Russian official said that Gen. Sergey Surovikin is not being held in a pre-trial detention center in Moscow, as some independent media have suggested. However, documents shared exclusively with CNN suggest the decorated Air Force commander was a secret VIP member of the Wagner private military company.

Beat me to it.
Anyway, Korea did get broken up. Hence the N & S. Why would anyone want to break N. Korea into smaller parts? :dead: Arguments can be made for breaking up the Russian Federation. Your comparison is :trash:
bro what lmao

lets name off some federated states that WONT immediately be assimilated informally into china or better yet - lets see what belarus looks like leading a new alliance :mjlol:
Let me break this down for you. Comparing Russia to Germany or Korea is retarded based upon size alone. Russia is an abomination regarding it's land mass. A dozen time zones in a continuous land mass? The multitudes of cultures and languages... C'mon, son. Break this shyt up once and for all. fukk the conquests of previous czars. It's time to reset the board.
you'd have a 21st century transnational wild west with half the world running fades the size of a small country before anyone in the UN could even plan out when nukes will be counted :laff:

that shyt only sounds cute in a youtube comments section

lmao, this is sad but true. america couldn't even do it before nukes, nk might've been the most annihilated country ever (not a single building standing, entire population living in caves) and the kim regime still survived.
Russia Generals planned that war and funded it

Allegedly Russia hacked American communications and found out America wasn't gonna defend Korea with Nukes so Russia decided to allow China and KIM to go ahead with the attack.

America stood no chance...fighting against an enemy who believed in their cause and the troops were hardened from previous wars fought in China...then Russia support :wow:

Russian people have had terrible history.

Russia was a serfdom into the 1880s...meant if you parents were serfs then so were the kids...meant you couldn't leave the land..you worked the land..your serf master gave you "housing" .."food"...

And God forbid the military drafts you...that is 25yr service bam...

And owners could legally kill their serfs without court for a.long time

After the Napoleonic wars Russian officers came back and saw there was a better way to live and wanted that..and thus revolution started brewing in Russia.

Serfdom gets abolished but prospects were still grim...

The country wasn't being run effectively...agriculture lacking which led to disastrous crop yield which caused famines.

All led to the boiling point of Lenin and the revolution...

Then you have a new way of living forced upon. You.

Lenin you work somewhere
.that's it...you're working...if not you're dead. Or you join the Red Army where your goal is to die to further the Bolshevik cause and to sustain the Soviet Union

I thought I read a quote somewhere that said "to be Russian is to die"....I think it's a Stalin misquote.

the ether
Some background: Last week, CNN reported that officials believed the counteroffensive is “not meeting expectations on any front,” while Russian lines of defense have been proving well-fortified, making it difficult for Ukrainian forces to breach them. In addition, Russian forces have had success bogging down Ukrainian armor with missile attacks and mines and have been deploying air power more effectively. Ukrainian forces are proving “vulnerable” to minefields and Russian forces “competent” in their defense, one Western official said.

On the counteroffensive, Kirby acknowledged Ukrainian forces “have made some progress—and they have themselves spoken to the fact that it’s not as much as they would have liked, but again, we’re focused on making sure that they have what they need and will continue to do that.”

He declined to offer a timeline on how much longer the conflict could be expected to last.

Possible cluster munitions: Milley also said that the US has been “thinking about” providing cluster munitions to Ukraine “for a long time” but that he did not know that a decision has been made yet.

CNN reported Thursday that the Biden administration is strongly considering approving the transfer of the controversial warheads to Kyiv with a final decision expected soon from the White House.

Mines and cluster munitions are some of the most evil weapons on the planet. They destroy land use for decades and kill children who weren't even alive during the war.

111 nations are party to the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which prohibits all use, transfer, production, and stockpiling of cluster bombs, including most of our European allies. Some of the main countries still producing cluster bombs include Brazil, China, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Israel, India, North Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, the United States and Turkey.

164 nations have signed the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines. Once again, the USA, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea, and South Korea are among the major non-signatories.
