the war in ukraine is not an opportunity to have a referendum on the US government, but the opposition to NATO action before and during is. i disagree with those who blame zelensky for not surrendering, but i dont see a problem with someone saying that NATO has been provocative.

a good way to get more left allies is to uphold the right to autonomy and international legal protection for all people, not just proxies of NATO. if you are doing that every year, who could find fault with you?

Im confused, I see alot of tweets blaming leftist or the democratic socialist. Are they talking about the deomcrat party? Biden and the democrats seem to support giving weapons/aid to Ukraine but when I see a clip of someone opposed to helping them its on Fox news or one of the other rightwing outlets.

I genuinely don't understand either. I have yet to see an example of it just accusations.

He couldn't name a single "All-star" poster here who believes all those things. Or one who has posted all that in this thread (or anywhere else). He's obviously referring to people like myself, @FAH1223, and probably some of you, but he couldn't name us, much less "many" of us, because we've never actually said all those things. There's a few easy obvious ones on there (for example, it's obvious that some fake footage and propaganda has been posted at times, as in every conflict), but 90% of the shyt on there is shyt that I would NEVER say. I have pages and pages on thecoli, especially in TLR, actively shining a light on the Wagner Group, shytting on the Azov deflection, debunking the biolabs bullshyt, calling out anyone who posts RT, dismissing whataboutism, and so on.

They don't care - they'll just toss out the lying accusation that "many" of us have supported all those things twice over, and they won't ever bring remotely the receipts to justify such a claim because the claim never relied on receipts, it's just character assassination. Repeat the lie long enough and someone will believe it, because there must be a grain of truth to a lie that's been repeated that often, right?

Together with @wire28 they're four posters who have been absolutely committed to demonizing "the left" and everyone who identifies with them, even to the point that they will outright lie with no shame at this point, because they think lies serve their purpose better than any truth could. Look in this thread for how many times they've punched down and attacked leftists (even though the vast majority of leftists don't believe that shyt at all), as opposed to how much they've attacked right-wingers (many of whom actually make those talking points), and you might suss out their agenda.
