I don't expect him to turn to NATO countries, but at some point in the future, Russia will do this again. They will try to recapture all of their lost Soviet Union territory.

It's going to be interesting to see what other former Soviet nations do tomorrow. They're gonna come running to the West for stronger ties and aid.
Ukraine tried to do this already but America ain't putting troops on ground for them. Rest of those countries will learn same thing.

Putin knows America ain't doing shyt for cold weather, non resourceful countries. And he's basically putting a middle finger up to NATO.

NATO never let Ukraine/Georgia join because they knew Putin would eventually do what he's doing today. And ultimately NATO don't want smoke with Russia. Why would that change for Lativa or Estonia??

No, surrendering is their best bet. None of the nations that can actually give Russia a run for their money are going to assist them.

Edit: Ukraine doesn't have shyt to offer us, so there's no reason for kats to die over them.
