Also Fairness Doctrine where you at It wouldn't have prevented all of this from happening but the difference between 30 years of a tamer, more balanced and informative news cycle and 30 years of what we've had and what we've now arrived at could've been everything as far as how the American populace as a whole (not divided into Dems/Repubs/unsure/independents etc) is viewing and reacting to everything. Such a huge portion of people who just aren't getting the facts (and probably wouldn't listen even if they were but that's another conversation). I'd kinda like to see a modern version taking internet news sources into account and have the idea of it at least be entertained by congress or the FCC. But instead we're getting rid of Net Neutrality these guys are really banking on the apathy and ignorance of the American people (along with corruption and a side of treason) to get away with what they're doing. It's not too late but yeah, the time for everybody to act and do something in protest and in hopes of making changes is coming.
