Is the only issue between Russia and NATO the Ukraine/border expansions or are there other issues? Isn’t Joe Biden talking about food shortages in the US? He is going to try and pin that, the gas prices, and inflation on Russia and it’s not going to work, giving Russia the upper hand when going against them is going to be seen as counter intuitive for the American people. They are trying to position themselves globally as the moral authority that’s the problem for you guys. Most people in the West are apathetic about this whole situation, and the overwhelming majority are not in a position to sacrifice for the Ukranie crisis, which is what the NATO leaders are hoping for. It’s unraveling the WEST not Russia.

Russia losing billions of dollars a day and thousands of lives over a pointless war, expending military resources they didn't have in the first place, exposing their military weaknesses to the entire military community, economy in the trash and its the West unraveling? Stop it. No one is uniting with Russia over this war, just reacting to the pushback. There's a difference.

It was clear from the outset that any war was going to cause damage to both sides. Yes, there will be long-term consequences in regards to commodities, monetary policy, global alliances, etc. to the US and its allies.

However, to say the West is getting the worst of it is being in denial of reality.

The US agreed to send American gas to Germany

Let's remember that Germany has no LNG terminals, so replacing the Russian gas will be a logistical nightmare.

Let's remember also Germany refused Trump offer to use American gas over the Russians previously. Democrats were calling it environmental disastrous. Things changed up quickly.

Russia is the new global superpower it seems. All the nations of the west and sanctions against them, they turned around and sanctioned the world :dead: and have time for an imperial boondoggle. Have China and India in line that’s the whole world. And they bullied America out of Syria. Strange times.

A currency backed by commodities is more reliable than simply backed by “promise to pay”.

Gold standard is the next move. If Russia does this, the Chinese follow.

Will the US have enough to cover their 30+ trillion $$ in debt?

Aint nobody worried about an Italy-sized economy :mjlol:

Dudes need to stop gassing up this attention whore, he's been playing the same game since he got W. Bush and Europeans hoodwinked into thinking he was a good guy now. It might take a year, but Russia's going to find itself having to sell at discount rates out the back of a Uhaul behind the Piggly Wiggly. And, once the Western world moves off Russia's pipeline there's no going back.

This is very key. The US weaponizing the USD and other country’s foreign reserves is a big double edged sword. The de-dollarization just got a battery pack boost after these actions.

Will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

Aint happening. Kingpins sit on pallets of US dollars because it's as good as gold.

This is impacting us all, how much are you paying to fill your gas tank lately?

It wasn't too long ago when Chuck Shumer was complaining about gas being priced at $3.89.

Price gouging. Barrel cost has been down. Unless you think a few percent of our supply being ENDANGERED not even cut off warrants the current price hikes.

EDIT: your Twitter sources are telling on you

The guy he tweeted is literally an anti-environmentalist energy industry shill. :mjlol:

He's also tweeted a Republican congressman, a deputy director of the Federalist Society, and some random Sinophile.

Would like to hear some counter arguments, attack the message, so I can reply back to your position.
