He doesn't necessarily fit any of those teams timeline as they still wouldn't really be a playoff contender even with him on the roster especially considering what you'd have to give up to make the contracts match.

The Clippers don't necessarily need him either as all they need is at least a competent PG which they get way cheaper than what Russ makes.

He is washed in a way that he doesn't make his teams better. OKC performed way better with CP this year than if Russ was in his place. He didn't do shyt in OKC without Durant until PG came.

People gotta stop paying attention to basic stats and look deeper into the numbers.

I was more so thinking of these teams just wanting a big name to help fill the seats or help them make the playoffs

It’s funny how The Coli is seeing the light on Westbrook that a lot us already knew about him when he was with KD. I knew for a long time that you couldn’t win it all with the way Westbrook plays late in games when it’s tight.

With Houston having to attach some sort of assets themselves to entice a team to do it. Don’t know what they could possibly add since they gave away the farm to get in the first place. Years back, Detroit took on Blake Griffins contract with no picks attached to the deal whatsoever.

If they do it again or another team does for essentially free, then they are complete fools.

Actually, SVG added a 1st round pick to the Griffin deal, and the Clips ended up using it on Shai-Gilgeous Alexander
