Ya'll know what? The more I think about it, this could actually be a good thing. If the gm can properly build a team around Harden. Think about it, you get out of Russ contract. The numbers were there, but I don't feel that him and Harden complimented each other well. Tucker was formidable but at 35, wanting a new deal and not in D'antoni's system, he can bounce. Austin Rivers- useless. Eric Gordon- always hurt. I mean he's a great bench player but if you can get a great piece for him, do it. This might be addition by subtraction.

You don’t want one of the best offensive threats in league history?
yeah the dude is tripping, Harden with Pat Riley/Spo system might just get his head together. Miami would be a very good contender, favorites in East with him and Butler

dudes be so prisoner of the moment on here.

nikkas talking like russ was out there averaging 9 PPg or some shyt :gucci:

The issue is more so just cap number and the numbers of years left on the deal that’s going to age terribly. Especially considering the fact that he’s rather injury prone. Max contracts are a hamper on a teams cap space regardless of the players.

Nearly 50% of my cap space devoted to Russ? Nahhhhh I’m good on that. Unless you’re adding pick swaps to the deal.

Who is going to be willing to take on a 32 year old injury prone PG with $134 million dollars left on his deal without adding any sweeteners to the deal that Houston doesn’t have? It’s the exact same reason why Kevin Love is still in Cleveland.
123, why are you adding money?

67-81-80-81-73 games before this season. 5 complete seasons before that. That's not injury prone. Westbrook is not leading anyone to a title but he's not Kevin Love. He's a 9x All-Pro and 2x scoring champion who will put . He'll be moved within the next 10 days.
