Running before heavy lifting. What's the consensus

so youve done a drop set or a 1RM before or after a run :cheff: then again im not certain we lift the same way

My lifting sessions are insane I'm on my 3rd week of gvt. I bet I'm able to bench 180 or close to 200 at the end of my six weeks.

i know what german volume training is

yet gvt isnt a drop set to failure either.

im talking about "relative" max effort here

if 180 is what you can do now with running, without the added stress + workup you could probably already do 200

but i digress

Please 10 mins of cardiovascular before my work out will not hinder me from max performance.

I said I'm doing gvt now everyone know how fatigue this type of training makes your muscles.,
I'm not lifting 180 now not even close I said after my 6 week I should be able to. I already see my gains and got damm didn't know I was that strong.

I will always warm up a little bit to get my body ready.

You can't do a real cardiovasvular workout before lifting weights and lift heavy as you can.

Best to do a quick 10 minute run at the end where you go HAM for that duration.

Weights first for me, then interval sprints on the treadmill. I go for 30 seconds on, 15 seconds off for 20-30 sprints.
