So you want the Niners to pay 19 million for a 33 y/o receiver? :dahell: That's the only reason why he ain't here. Nobody is discounting his efforts. But it would be foolish to re-sign him that high with other needs. Lots of options at WR for the Niners, mainly to get younger.

Lets seee who his replacement is...I hope yall temper your expectations. The best chance to win was last year.

Yup, it's gonna be a hard pill to swallow as the season unfolds. But shyt, we didn't see last season coming either (Sanders trade included) so who the fukks knows :manny:

Heres my thing though.

Were trynna get back to the Super Bowl AND WIN!

Do you actually believe a ROOKIE WIDE RECEIVER can join this team, become not only the best WR on this team but the best in the entire league, and help lead us back?

Think about, a rookie that can be can be better than Thomas, Jones, OBJ, Hopkins, etc???

Is this really what we putting our hope and money in?

Maybe this forces Kyle to run the ball  :troll:

It all depends who they get. They didn't have Sanders half the season and was rolling due to the running game. For most part the Niners have been making some good moves, so I think they will get another solid WR some how.

You're definitely way off on how last year was the best year. The window is wide open. Plus Ford and Kwon played barely half the season, so if fully healthy that makes a huge impact. Most of the core players are locked up for a few years. Nowhere to go but up. :francis:

We snuck up on a lot of teams and everything aligned perfectly. I seriously think it was the type of season where only we could have fukked it up. And we did.

Plus teams are going to really focus on us. It's going to be harder. Could we make another run? Anything's possible. I think we should be alright...really depends on Jimmy.

I’m fine with that but if that’s the decision we finna make. We need to all definitely understand the situation we bout to be in and realize we probably not going back to the SB next season and have to be fine with that

Ain’t rookie leading us there and I don’t believe our young guys good enough alone to get us there

We playoffs and done

So you think the Niners made to the SB on Sanders back? :gucci: Niners were winning without him. Did he open of the passing game? Yes. But running the ball and great defense is what got the Niners there. I don't see how any Niners fan could refute that.

:dahell: Why would we need the best WR in the league to make it back to the Superbowl when we made it there in the first place without an elite one? Out of all those guys you mentioned, only one has been to a superbowl. Replacing Sanders with Jeudy or Lamb would be an improvement to our receiving corp. We still have the best TE in the league and the best offensive mind in the league, we don't need the best WR in the league as well.

This has been a shytty off-season so far. Still can’t believe we traded Buckner... a young all-pro defensive lineman who’s versatile. Just crazy.

It'll depend on what we do with the 13th pick imo. If it turns out that we traded Buckner for Armstead and Jeudy, i wouldn't be hella mad at that :manny:

Didn't Deebo do that last season?:gucci: And Sanders is nowhere near the best WR in the league. Man ya'll giving him way too much props. :mjlol:

I think Higgins would be a great fit here. 49ers really need a taller receiver for the jump ball and redzone. But this kid can even catch over the middle. I'm usually a homer for cats from FL. But in this instance in Kyle's offense Higgins would just be explosive.

Armstead move I didn't like at all. I would have rather traded him. He's been oft hurt and only had good one season because of Bosa. Buckner missed I think only 1 game and is hella versatile.

Yes we was winning but guys was dropping passes like crazy and it’s a reason why the world and even some of y’all look at Jimmy funny and maybe in a negative way.

Sanders only dropped one pass.

Also it’s a reason why we kinda HAD to become a heavy running team.

If guys was catching balls better earlier (no pause) Jimmy easily has about another 600-1000 yards and about 12 more TDs and 8 less INTs.

Deebo was good but he wasn’t great.... he did well for his rookie season but let’s not pretend he’s a top 5 wr.

Can this team get back to the Playoffs? Yes..... but as of now can we win a SB. Probably not, we need leadership at the WR spot and we lost it
