Run block is a TE primary skill. There a lots of great run blocking TE's in the NFL. But this is not the issue. The issue is he wants a WR salary. He's been our leading WR and that is due to the poor WR corps. Niners have been working on it and it will get better.

All the TE's that had great catching skills wanted mega money. Not one team's offense folded went they went for the money.

Paying him that money is not going break us. What he brings to the team is worth at least 15-17 million a year. For all this talk about Jalen Hurd he hasn't played a regular season snap and our best receiver from the last season already has a broken foot. We need as many playmakers on offense that we can muster.

We'll just agree to disagree. No way they should pay that much for TE. The highest paid TE is at 9 million a year. I can't believe the outcry over Kittle but not over Buckner. You want to pay a highly potential injury prone player the salary of what our d lineman was asking who was only hurt one game his whole career.
