The word missing from this video is cocaine.
They blamed it on her drinking champagne.
Alcohol doesn't keep you up. Alcohol doesn't give you motormouth.
If I were to guess, she probably started tootin during her label transition as there was a lot going on.
At first, it's just a quick pick me up for when you got long days and nights ahead.
But if it's good cocaine, it becomes a crutch quickly.
In order to keep up with her demanding schedule, she would come to depend on cocaine.
Heavy cocaine use can keep you up for days at a time, so that explains the lack of sleep.
Heavy cocaine users tend to be susceptible to bipolar disorder, too.
You'll hear a lot of cocaine addicts blame their addiction on being bipolar when its the other way around.
it looks like she was able to get off that train, so kudos to her.

I talked about Mariah somewhere on here..There was more to that..Tommy Mottola tried to shut down her career after the split when she started openly riding hard on every black dikk in the industry. The only reason her career got back on track was because LA Reid had enough clout to push through that Emancipation of Mimi LP.

I see you mentioned All Daz, Solb, and Shooters. Did DC never get on the Bonidacci and Mchunu wave or was that just a PG thing? I've always heard city nikkas ain't fukk with that shyt us in the county was wearing. We did wear Solb, Shooters and All Daz too. Not so much the HOBO and Madness although a few nikkas would. But Bonidacci was the most popular then a few years later it was Mchunu with Solb in the cut and then all that shyt everyone stopped wearing except Solb.

Definitely a PG thing with Bonidacci, Scraypuz, Mchunu. Suitland HS got Mchunu poppin fr fr. I say that because half the ni66az that worked there went to Suitland.

Yeah when I lived in DC (soufside) all we rocked was DDTP, Planet Chocolate City, All Dayz, Nautica/ POLO sweats and some 996/ 1300’s on some ji chill shyt.

I’m what about We Are One? That store was in Suitland but was city nikkas wearing that? I remember randomly seeing Mike Tyson or one of his homies/bodyguards wearing that

Lena Horne boots Janet Jackson from TV biopic. The legendary singer no longer wanted the younger diva to portray her after her Super Bowl scandal

Janet Jackson’s ”wardrobe malfunction” has cost her what could have been the most prestigious acting role of her career, the starring role in ABC’s anticipated biopic of legendary actress and singer Lena Horne. Jackson had been cast in the project months ago, and she’d even appeared in a recent Vanity Fair magazine photo shoot costumed as Horne. Now, however, Variety cites a Jackson spokesperson as saying that Horne and daughter Gail Lumet Buckley were so infuriated by the younger singer’s scandalous Super Bowl halftime show that they refused to grant ABC their contractual approval of the project unless Jackson was fired. ABC refused, Variety reports, but Jackson made the dispute academic by dropping out of the project.

Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who’ve produced a number of showbiz biopics (”The Reagans,” ”Martin and Lewis”) and musicals (”The Music Man,” ”Annie”) for TV in recent years, also dropped out of the project in solidarity with Jackson; a spokesperson for the producers said they would look for another project on which to collaborate with Jackson. As for the Horne movie, unless the network can find new producers and a new star, the biopic is effectively dead. ”It’s sad this had to happen,” an ABC insider told Variety. ”It was a perfect match
