2002 yeah it was one of the biggest, Avirex was probably the most prestige.. By 2005 Rocawear was bargain bucket business.

The word missing from this video is cocaine.

If I were to guess, she probably started tootin during her label transition as there was a lot going on.
At first, it's just a quick pick me up for when you got long days and nights ahead.
But if it's good cocaine, it becomes a crutch quickly.
In order to keep up with her demanding schedule, she would come to depend on cocaine.
Heavy cocaine use can keep you up for days at a time, so that explains the lack of sleep.
Heavy cocaine users tend to be susceptible to bipolar disorder, too.
You'll hear a lot of cocaine addicts blame their addiction on being bipolar when its the other way around.
it looks like she was able to get off that train, so kudos to her.

From I what remember back in the 2000's, nikkas rocked SouthPole & Ecko much more often than RocaWear.
regional thing honestly. Girbauds were big too, SouthPole wasn't hot, but just one of them things in Atlanta at least. Enyce,Akademiks,Avirex jackets, dikkies,LRG, [fake] Evisu, Rocawear, [to a degree] Sean John], and Polo were the go to during that time period. And of course 4 for 20 white/black Ts

Well I do live and went to Middle school & High School in the 2000's in a racially-diverse working class-middle class suburb. So make of that what you will.
