neither of these consoles are for sale, sony decided to rush becuase they have lost billions on the ps3 and need to grasp peoples mindshare. microsoft are in a better position no need to rush a console announcement, you can only announce a console once.

Imagine if your friend had a game that he was playing, you guy's just left a virtual world of exploring together and now your socializing together from a unified platform on the standards of the most diverse media tool used in a video game system. Imagine if your friend purchased a new game that you currently don't have, now what if your friend pushed the Share button and you entered his game without it in the console or in your physical hands, you took over the controls of your friend's game and jumped into the game to play it with him or without at the press of a button, and the whole experience was captured and could be seen by the world as a live feed as if it was a tournament. Let's step ahead and say your awards earned in a game could even add life to a virtual world as if 2 world's connected. Imagine even if your social friend who doesn't even own the console could also view your Gaming world in the view of the EYE... Cloud gaming meeting Virtual Life meets Facebook. That's all I gotta say.. Kinect 2.0 will be cool but Xbox Live has to come a little stronger than just a nifty interface this time around.

The thing isnt due to go on sale till around November anyway. The only people who care about when they reveal are jounalists who need something to write about to justify their jobs and fanboys who want to declare a winner before either console is released.
The rest of the people will wait until they are about to get released and then make an informed decision on which to buy. I dont give a shyt about a reveal if i cant buy the product until half a year later.

you can't just redesign hardware on the fly without a significant delay. No way in hell does MS allow Sony to drop the PS4 this year and they drop next year. It's not happening. At this point, there's not much they can really change with the system.
