Because they aren't scared of that shyt. Sony didn't reveal anything spectacular, they just wanted to get out front cause they lost that battle last gen. If Microsoft was scared of the ps4 they would have had their reveal and dropped a bunch of concepts and plans like Sony did. Microsoft will come out with real information and real exclusive games and features in order to get people excited about the next gen.

no announcement has ever been announced. The rumors always said it would be a April-may announcement. And even if they did push it back that doesn't mean they are scared. If they were scared they would be talking about it and addressing the rumors. The silence means they are confident they will crush buildings when they reaveal the nextbox

You never give your opponent free reign when it comes to next gen talk. Microsoft should know this because they rushed the 360 out the gate because they knew getting info/system out there first would. So now they are backtracking to what got them the lead? Stop it

My bet is that they are probably switching to GDDR5 or making a quick change under the hood. People will look at a nextbox with 8GB DDR3 and be like damn...that sounds old

And the difference between gddr5 and gddr3 has been overblown. At best ps4 will have a couple extra detailed textures but beyond that the difference will be negligable.
