I wonder if digital games in my PS3 library will work…only have a handful—dead nation, bionic commando rearmed, max payne 3, one of the ratchet and clank games, and maybe 1 or 2 more games I can’t remember

Sony needs to improve the streaming of PS3 games. That the stream quality for a system with such an amazing library of games is so poor makes PSNow a half baked competitor to Game Pass. One of the main reasons gamers are sour on PSNow is the lack of proper PS3 emulation. Fixing that would be a tenfold improvement to the service.

The PS3 is difficult to emulate due to the cell processor. Can a PS5 even do that well? MVG was talking about getting ok performance with a 10th generation Intel i7 processor on a PC.

Oh, yeah, I know why. I just think it’s worth investing in the development of PS3 emulation.

They are doing everything in their power to avoid touching that cash cow

Depending on how strong Microsoft's first party games end up being and third party support in the long run they're either have to make some changes or die on this tradition
A company is doing everything in it’s power not to harm its main source of revenue? How stupid of them. They should give their games away for free.
