You don't have to be a stan to see that PS Now is a disappointment. PS Now has been out for a long time yet others have passed it and it never caught on regardless of the fact that it objectively has more games on it than its competitors.

The Place Where Dreams Go To Die
You are conflating your personal needs with the actual reasoning behind the decisions being made. We are telling you why x and x doesn’t make sense, not why we don’t want it

Microsoft is a 2 trillion dollar company, playing in the game market. Sony and Nintendo can’t do what they can. If thats something important to you then just keep playing on xbox because they suit your specific needs

But we know you like your little pervy hentai murder games so you can’t afford to do that
:mjlol:

What?

This is one of those deals where you make a point and someone doesn't like it so they personally attack you. It's a logical fallacy most people fall back on when they're defeated on the merits of their argument. My exophase is in my sig. I'd really like to see all these perverted hentai murder games I love. It's always interesting when people who don't know you and couldn't even ID you on the street give you facts about yourself you don't even know.

Like I've been saying there's ways that Sony could make a subscription service with day and date games work in a way that favors consumers and works out for them. Sony isn't really interested in exploring that because in the present market conditions they dominate. It's the same way Nintendo ultimately took half measures on a CD based system and decided to remain with cartridges because at the time it favored them and they dominated.

As a unpaid propaganda mouthpiece for Sony breh is just spouting internet fanboy talking points. If tomorrow Sony announced a 1:1 Game Pass copy you'd watch this guy go from the Game Pass model can't work to singing Sony's praises for adopting the model. This is a guy that claims to not be interested in Xbox made games but if you look at the threads about said games he post more of them than actual Xbox fans.

Gamepass model doesn’t work and I’ve told you this a million times. Do you think it’s a coincidence that out of all the publishers in the industry, only one; Microsoft, who also happen to be a 2 trillion dollar company are offering this service and no else?

They’ve got the bottomless cash pit to afford running this. Nobody does. If it’s such a lucrative great service why haven’t all the publishers, Activision, EA, Remedy, Nintendo, etc jumped on board? They haven’t because because they can’t afford it. It’ll destroy their company.

It came out probably too early, and Sony didn't really need to push it with their first party dominance, so it just kind of...existed. About time they reformed it and put some advertising behind it.

Do EA/Ubisoft put their big games up day one on their services? Honest question, as I don't remember if they do or don't.

Yeah EA and Ubisoft both have day one subscription services on PC. Beyond that Ubisoft is considering going further into Free to Play games.

Yea, I played Battlefield 2042 day one for 10 hours with the gamepass ultimate + ea play. I think EA Play Pro gives you the full game early instead of just 10 hours.

Ubisoft doesn’t put its new games on their service day one, its like disney +

And i was joking about the hentai murder games, i don’t have any personal issue with you. Most times you’re reasonable on here but you’re stuck on this subscription model idea and think the only way to do it is the way microsoft is doing it and Jim ryan president of SIE himself said last year that they’ve done the numbers, its not feasible for them, i trust him and those number junkies at SONY more than just some dude that likes free games on the internet.\

It’s also no surprise that EA is more so able to do it considering the games they offer vs anyone else. Both those companies prove that this shyt isn’t feasible if you are primarily putting out games without built in store fronts.

It’s also why Ubisoft is turning assassins creed into a live service game. Thats how the entire industry is gonna change with these subscription services

Assassin's Creed Infinity: what you need to know about the new Assassin’s Creed platform

Yall are gonna regret pushing this idea of “FREE GAMES” once the entire industry catches up to this idea, or maybe you won’t cause people here still love these shytty games

A group of people much smarter than you and more successful than you believe it can work. They have access to real numbers and real data and say it can work. Are you suggesting Satya Nadella doesn't know what he's doing? Are you suggesting he's just burning money for the hell of it with no end game in sight?

Is it not obvious to you that consumers like these subscription based services? When people want something it's up to the businesses to figure out how to get it to them cost effectively.

Sony could come out with a subscription service put their entire first party back catalog on it and say each month we'll give you 35% off a single new retail title on our highest sub tier. That's basically a new title for $45ish dollars. It doesn't have to start as an exact copy of Game Pass but subscription services offer people value beyond just access to a back catalog of content. There needs to be an advantage to signing up for it.
