Let's be real here, Rich Paul is just throwing this shyt into the media to make it seem like John Wall is really wanted out there, hoping that some team will ACTUALLY bite on a trade. The Lakers don't want dude, doesn't make sense from a financial standpoint nor an actual on court standpoint. Even if Magic and Pelinka think no free agents will come, they'll save the young trade assets either to see if any of them will pop (I doubt they will) or they'll trade them for a better fit than Wall. Disgruntled superstars with multiple years on their contracts come along every season.
