THE LAKERS WILL HAVE 40 MILION DOLLARS IN AUGUST
TO ABSORB WALLS SALARY?

They have $38M cleared now. If Wall is a fall back plan for them, they can keep the powder dry until a deal is done.

I’ve made my point and now you’re going to keep arguing details. I don’t care to argue this any further. I don’t even want Wall.

I get that but maybe they have inside info that these better players won't join LeBron in the off season. They can't waste these final years of Bron playing at an elite status. They need guarantees or strong hints that another star wants to play with Bron and the Lakers right now. No time for courting only to come up empty handed again. They can't have another PG situation in the off season. I think Magic is kinda realizing that stars might not want to play Bron Ball and that its not attractive.. Hell he's an all time great point guard who was pass first that's why he initially loved Lonzo. Magic loves Bron on the Lakers but I don't think he's a fan of Bron Ball. Didn't he have a meeting with Luke Walton about his minutes and playing point?

The meeting was because he was playing Center.

Lakers will not do a trade that cost money past the off-season...

they will sign a max.. then trade for another.

Here's the deal, I'm source #5...

Scott Brooks started the season with questionable lineups. I believe there's more to that than just bad coaching. I believe the team wants to figure out who stays and who goes.

Ian Mahimni doesn't touch the court anyone and his contract is very tradeable (thanks Ernie)

Jeff Green gets less time than I'd prefer

Thomas Bryant, Satoransky and Oubre now start. Why play players you don't plan on starting next season?

Meanwhile Otto, John and even brad play less minutes this year than previous seasons.

My take? If the Lakers will have him? Then John will be gone in 10 days. And I love Kuzma but we don't need him. We need to sign Ingram to an extension and we need to resign Oubre Jr. Then the lineup will be..

Satoransky, Beal, Porter, Ingram, Howard
Then
Rivers, Oubre, Morris, Green, Bryant
With
Troy Brown Jr, Mahimni, Devin Robinson

I don't hate it, but I want the current team to prosper :manny:
