If they do get back the Fantastic Four, they should pull a Batman and save Dr. Doom for the second movie.

For the first movie focus on the team and a maybe have 2 smaller villains like how Batman Begins had Ra's and Scarecrow.

Then have the main famous villain come through and bring down the buildings in the second film

They should definitely go to Space and/or Negative Zone. A Time Travel movie would also be sick. Yup that's it, time travel.

Fantastic Four are explorers first.

First Movie, Origin with Space and Negative Zone. Villain: Super Skrull and /or Annihilus
Second Movie, Atlantis with Namor. Maybe throw in Inhumans or Black Panther.
Third, Time Travel, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom

I'm just throwing shyt out there I don't know.

Na, agree with villain angle, but no origin. Make them already established. Or tell the origin in the credits like they did with Hulk. Do a slow burn with Doom throughout the movies as well.

I don't know man. If they don't give them a quick origin, then they need to at least drop Reed and Doom in a few movies as scientist before their powers to establish the characters.

Seems like...I read the Fox response shooting the rumor down and then came in here and dudes are still hype. Got me like :dahell:

Only because nikkas at Sony was like, WE NEVER GIVING SPIDERMAN BACK!

So if Sony can break bread with Marvel/Disney for Spiderman who still made 700 million. Then it's not out of the realm of possibilities that Fox will eventually come around and break bread with Marvel/Disney, after Flopstastic Four.

Especially with Marvel letting them make two television shows and Marvel announcing 4 more movies. It's just a waiting game at this point in my opinion.

One thing about Fox & Marvel shooting it down though...the rights might stay with Fox AND Marvel gets to snatch up Galactus & Silver Surfer for Infinity War.

Honestly, I can't see why either camp would want to make another FF movie in the near future. Fox must make FF movies to keep the rights, but they just made one so they're good for, what, another 5-7 years? Marvel already has a full slate of characters they've built and are debuting themselves who all might get sequels, so why develop a new FF movie when Fox has tainted the brand so badly?

If anything, I think this is all about character usage. Fox gets Marvel to co-sign on letting them create X-properties for television, Marvel gets to use some of these characters in some upcoming films, and whoever has the stronger bargaining hand probably gets a check as well plus Fox keeps the rights overall for leverage in future negotiations and/or to have time to figure out how to salvage the franchise.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but that's what I see playing out...

If the trend for Villain movies was pop off...

I'd rather see a Dr. Doom movie that shyt would be so dope. If I could reach out to Fiegie.

It'd tell him that's what me and @R=G Demand
A Doom origin that focuses on a young Doom trying to rescue his mom from Mephisto would be cool.

Yeah if the TV deal is true then Marvel/Disney had to get something back, right? I do think an FF4 movie in phase 4 would work though. And of course the villains would be awesome for the MCU.
FOX really has no playbook for FF4 going forward. The last was so heavily panned they cannot even drop 30 million on a straight to DVD movie. They would probably lose on that. Working with Disney is like their only move. That's why I don't believe the denial wholeheartedly. But whatever. It's so far down the line it's not a priority for me. We shall see what happens.

But the huge difference between Fox and Sony is that Sony and Marvel have always had a good relationship with each other, and Fox and Marvel damn near hate each other. It wouldn't surprise me if Sony and Marvel had talks before about sharing Spidey in the MCU pre-ASM2 meltdown, cuz the Oscorp Tower was supposed to be in the NYC skyline in Avengers 1, but by the time Marvel got the official OK from Sony, the CGI-rendering of NYC was already done and Marvel didn't to pay to have it re-rendered.

While I would love to see Doom in the MCU, I don't see Fox working out a deal like Sony did. If anything they probably just had to work out a new deal as far as licensing and merchandising that probably benefits Marvel more than the feature film deal does.
