I know this has been proven false, but even if it was true, 2020 would be WAY WAY to close to reboot the franchise.
Rebooting Spiderman again is just a terrible idea and rebooting Fantastic Four would be a disaster regardless of Marvels involvement. Marvel needs to chill with the superhero movies anyways, especially the way Joss Whedon went out
X-Men/Fox waited the perfect amount of time to make another movie. Marvel needs to take notes.

the length between last stand and first class was 5 years. If the reboot is 2020 that will be 6 years after TASM2

I feel like this Batman will probably be the closest we get since Burton's. It's still hard to tell now tho. This does look like the angriest Batman so far. And we know Bats has a lot of angertill they get it right,many ppl don't realize it but we haven't actually got the real batman yet. Every director that has touched it went wrong somewhere putting their ego before the source material, Burton came the closest.
Richard donner's movie was a good representation of supes but that was damn near 40 years ago, with today's tech aren't we due another?
And lastly I never felt that tobey captured the true essence of spidey like Garfield did. On the other hand neither were good Peter Parker 's. And 1 great movie out of 5 entries is pathetic. They need to put in the work and stop fukin around with the 1st avenger and make a winter soldier

when Alexander Pearce was a boss in TWS. I don't really see Bucky as a villain, given what we know about civil war he's basically a tweener

I forgot about First Class but that was still just another X Men movie, not a reboot. Who needs or even wants another reboot of Spiderman
Especially if they retell the origin story
If they do get back the Fantastic Four, they should pull a Batman and save Dr. Doom for the second movie.
For the first movie focus on the team and a maybe have 2 smaller villains like how Batman Begins had Ra's and Scarecrow.
Then have the main famous villain come through and bring down the buildings in the second film

But I'll have to see it if all the movies (in the Marvel universe, Spiderman included) are connected
I'm not really against the movie being made, I just don't want it to be a re-hash of all the same shyt. You cleared up that concern for me. Thanks

They will. Kevin Feige, who is the guy mainly responsible for the MCU, will be an executive producer on the solo Spiderman film. The situation with Spiderman can be described as, It's Sony's car, but Marvel is driving it. At this point Sony just collecting a check while Marvel does what it wants to with Spidey. I think he pose to be in Civil War as a 15-16 yo who already is established and has his powers. Marvel wouldn't let that happen unless they had bulk control or what happens in their movies and the solo ones.
