Welp, it was nice to imagine what would happen at least. :to:

Fantastic Four Movie Rights Back at Marvel?

Update: Steve here. I’ve checked with some high up sources and can report Marvel has not regained the movie rights to Fantastic Four. In addition, Fox already had the X-Men TV rights so no trade happened or was necessary. Original story below.

fukk you, Steve :pacspit:
Something is off though. He says Fox already had the TV rights to XMen

But, Gary Neman, a chairman at FOX has stated otherwise. So something not adding up. Either Steve's sources got the last part wrong, or it is all wrong from Steve. :jbhmm:There's hope!:gladbron:
Fox May Make an 'X-Men' TV Series -- But Needs Marvel's Blessing
Gary Newman revealed that Fox is indeed interested in making the mutant comic series into a TV show, and that the network is currently in negotiations to do so. There's one major hurdle standing in Fox's way, though: While the company owns the movie rights to the franchise, Marvel still owns the rights to the characters outright, and needs to grant Fox permission to use them again for television.

Fox Confirms They're Eyeing an X-Men Series, After Months of Speculation
But here's the slight complication: While sister production company 20th Century Fox controls the film rights to the X-Men characters, the comic itself is owned by Marvel, which is based at rival Disney. A live-action TV series requires Marvel's blessing – and that has led to some delicate talks.

"It's in negotiations," Newman confirms. "We're cautiously optimistic, we had a good meeting with them. That will not be on a fast track creatively. This is just the deal, now we have to find the creative."

Also, one of the first sites to report on this Den Of Geeks. Fantastic Four back at Marvel, movie planned for 2020?

Just did an update to their article

UPDATE: The Marvel deal for Fantastic Four might also include the rights to Galactus, Silver Surfer and Dr Doom too...
Update: Having asked for some clarification from our source, we understand that the deal Marvel have made with Fox - which will see Fantastic Four returned to the Marvel fold in exchange for the X-Men TV rights - also includes the rights to villains Galactus and Doctor Doom, as well as the Silver Surfer.

If the deal pans out as our contact says it will, this means that two of the biggest villains in comic books will be able to appear elsewhere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and not just in the 2020 film we've heard is already in place.

The Source Wars :bryan:

Somebody credibility gonna be shyt after this, that's for sure.
