Ain't That Something
Superstar
We have had 5 fukking Peter Parker movies and nikkas still want more. fukk that give me mile morales, give me something and someone I haven't seen before
Okay I don't know nothing about miles, but is he a slick talking smartass like Peter is while he's spiderman? I'm assuming he isn't because there would no point in him existing other than to be a different race Spidey. And if I assume right then yeah he can definitely I want my spiderman cracking jokes while bustin asses and going back n forth with Tony.

The only way I see this working is Parker in Civil War/Avengers and MM in the solo movies.
Like i said I think MM has more earning potential that a PP centered story. Marvel paid $0 to get him in the MCU, this is still Sony's show. They are using Marvel to increase Spiderman's value. You think it is about one thing (tradition/being true to character)but it's about something else (money).Miles Morales becomes Spider-Man because of Peter Parker, after he dies, you can't have one without the other. There is no legacy Spider-Man in the world that the Marvel films are set in. Peter Parker(with the red and blue suit) is the definitive and trademark Spider-Man that everyone knows and wants that's why the announcement generated all that buzz as people are anticipating the character being put into the same world as The Avengers and eventually joining them. There's zero payoff with a different version. Marvel didn't reshuffle their films to accommodate Spider-Man, their biggest character, with the thought of using Miles Morales or Ben Reilly .
If Spider-Man is going to be integrated into Marvel's cinematic universe then they had to start from scratch(with they're doing) don't need the baggage from the last entry of films that the fans and public clearly weren't receptive to.
They're gong to skip all the romance, origin and Uncle Ben stuff and focus on his high school years as Spider-Man and supporting characters e.g. Liz Allen, Flash Thompson, Mary Jane, Eddie Brock etc characters who are his age.

Oh shyt I just checked Miles' wiki and PP is so minor to his origin:
After Norman Osborn was arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D, and publicly revealed as the Green Goblin, Osborn Industries was left abandoned. Nearly two months before Peter Parker's death, athief broke into Osborn Industries. Unbeknown to the thief a spider genetically enhanced with the Oz formula crawled into his bag.
Miles Morales, a young kid fromBrooklyn visited his uncle Aaron Davisagainst his parents' wishes, because of his uncle's criminal past, after being awarded the final spot in a charter school lottery. At his uncle's apartment Miles was bitten by the Oz-enhanced spider, which emerged from Aaron's bag, and Miles discovered he received super-human abilities like camouflage, increased agility, and some sort of stun blast. After revealing his newly found powers to his best friend, Ganke Lee, both concluded he had power similar to Spider-Man's, including wall-crawling.[2][3]But Miles reacted negatively, as he just wanted to be normal, and decided to leave heroism to the actual Spider-Man.
Months later, Spider-Man died saving his family from Osborn. Miles arrived late to the scene. Struck with grief at not helping Peter Parker before his demise, Miles decided to follow Parker's philosophy -- with great power comes great responsibility -- and so continue Peter's legacy.[4]
They can insert any existing hero from MCU as PP to motivate MM to use his powers.
Nah breh the reason Miles exists is because of Peter. The reason he is the way he is is because of Peter. He looks up to Peter. And the only reason or way Pete would ever stop being spider man is if he's dead or unable to do it with a loss of limb. Miles story is directly linked to Peter's..especially since Gwen and MJ and aunt May are a part of his supporting cast as well
