I aint gon hold you a lot of this seem like clickbait. Its dry as hell in the Hollywood media space right now and this WBD story is the best thing going. Every new article it feels like Warner Bros is one step closer to its demise and that just can't be the case. Let these articles tell it, WB aint got no money left to putmovies in theaters and they're never going to make movies with non-whites in them ever again. In reality GOT is on fire and they canned a bunch of shyt nobody was watching anyway and that's pretty much it. I'm just gonna let this shyt play out because right now Warner is getting the same treatment Netflix was getting after Disney + was announced where everybody was certain it was over for them nikkas and that was very much not the case.

Yeah, It's definitely not as dire as some of these articles make it around, but it sure as shyt isn't as good as some people would make it sound, either. Some of the decisions they're making right now don't necessarily add up, unless you start trying to do 4D chess galaxy brain Hollywood math.

@AnonymityX1000 doesn't want to listen to podcasts from actual experts on the issue but that's exactly what they said on The Ringer

if WBD starts selling off assets or some of the major ip starts disappearing or projects are canceled that'd be a big story. So far.. not a big story

So then you agree that we shouldn't be discussing that as any type of measure on how WBD is doing? :sas2:
We? I don't know what you think. When it comes to WBD you talk about "herm, we shouldn't be discussing that as any type of measure". But when it comes to Disney + and Netflix you ignore it. You're not slick B.

Dummy.. they were used as examples to show that Wall Street and corps in the same space as WBD aren't doing well either... therefore.. the posts about WBD's price were irrelevant

Shame that you can't connect dots on the topic you're replying to :dead:

Wrong, when you were talking about Netflix and Disney +, no one was talking about the WBD stock price.

See your post here: Rumor: HBO Max may be folding into Discovery+

August 4th, WBD's stock price wasn't a point of discussion in this thread.

None of this should be surprising in the slightest as these streaming services have been churning too much content and the current structure doesn't justify the costs. A lot of these wack ass movies people are in here complaining about were going to flop in theaters and were going to flop on the streaming service if it was a separate release. These services were throwing money for years to create content and the end result was no substantial growth but rising costs.

Quite honestly, a lot of these movies and TV shows should have never been greenlit in the first place
