That two hour series premiere with Vinyl to this day still has me kinda :skip:

Show had a lot of potential but never knew what it truly wanted to be, IMO. Which is a bummer because Cannavale and Romano killed their respective roles.

I think Romano was doing better than Cannavale, he was trying to be a likable doosh like Tony Soprano but wasn't pulling off.
Olivia Wilde was dope on that shyt to.
Also, I did watch/try to put my seed up on the Late Night Show with Elmo since he loves him on Sesame St., even he wasn't feeling that shyt. lol

Ray was a big surprise for me. Show was GREAT when it focused on the music business aspect. That lame ass murder sub-plot derailed things.

if people are really upset and it seems like the best thing to do is to not see their movies in theaters :pachaha:
just saying:hubie:
the only Bronte sister movie ever that need to be made is "we was hoes." I don't care about who wrote wuthering heights or her Jane eyre sister, or whatever the other sister wrote

Residuals. Apparently when a show is streaming, residuals are paid based on the number of subscribers the streamer has.

I thought Sydney Sweeney was just complaining about how streaming doesn’t pay residuals so that’s why she has to stay working without breaks?

They can do all that and they still aren’t going to be profitable. It’s the reason a lot of us have been saying that the streaming option just isn’t financially feasible long term and why we will end up with cable all over again.

Nah... by the end of the year cable will be down to 70M subs in the U.S. That number used to be 100M. Only sports is saving cable now.

People just don't want to pay. They'll maybe get Netflix for a couple months.. then bounce. Then go over to another streamer for a month.

Not sure how they will hold anyone's attention. They gonna try ad-based subs now too. Ad revenue gonna become the next shot in the arm for the streamers.

Here's my prediction: Someone (probably Apple or Amazon) gonna offer a deal where you can say buy Disney and HBO for such and such bundle.. which will be somewhat "cable" but not the cable we remember..

Then Comcast and Google etc. will start capping internet. Everyone gonna end up paying $200+/month for internet + a couple streamers + however much GB they use.
