Gotta be tough for him to communicate needing a translator while having mental health issues.

Hope he gets better. He hit a 3 late in a game last year vs the Nets, that won me a player prop parlay.

Edit: he speaks english very well. My bad

It's been like 3 years, why hasn't he learned English?

Im sure the Japanese have moved on to hanging themselves, buying used panties, and their other daily activities. He shouldnā€™t put to much on himself if thatā€™s the case

It is different for him.
He has a whole country who kinda resents him and when he went to college.
His language barrier made ot tough for him too.
As he is not built as a euro or international player for dual hazing in college because of language barrier. Then go back home and be mistreated because of race.
Plus lose in thr olympics too.

It is different.
Rui is a complete transplant to where he is natively born.
Plus where he has the skill to be employed.
I imagine him to be kinda alone if you think about it.
Plus being far far awaynfrom what you were socialized and raised in.
To then come to america.

Especially when i do not believe.
he ever adjusted from college hazing from his college coach.
to begin with as well.

Word, I empathize like crazy with this kid.

Wouldnā€™t want to deal with what he deals with on the surface in the face of others, and in his own head on a daily basisā€¦since his childhood. He didnā€™t ask for none of it, and itā€™s all out of his control unfortunately.

And nobody should come with the ā€œheā€™s gotta toughen upā€ bullshyt sports mentality nonsense in this case. Itā€™s a pretty unique situation, and shouldnā€™t be brushed off. Hope he can overcome it.
