Jazz are now 19-12 with Gobert

Heat are 24-21 with Whiteside

More to defense than just blocks :mjpls:
Trolling aside. With Whiteside is it a case of the Heat misusing breh by that I mean Spo, or is breh seriously challenged in the defensive side.

In the Heat thread half my brehs blaming Spo the other half blames Hassan.

He chases blocks a lot like Marcus Camby used to, as in he jumps to challenge damn near everything and truthfully he'd be a lot better if he stayed on his feet sometimes, he's not the quickest second leaper so if you can get him to bite somebody could be open at the rim.

In comparison to Rudy, he's not really that close defensively to Gobert but he's good just off his length and athleticism where as Rudy is just elite in rim protection & team defense. Hassan could be one of the best interior defenders if he didn't always go for blocks, sometimes you end up out of position as a result of chasing a block, if you watch them Rudy stays on the ground a lot and forces the pass out and will leave his feet when he's 100% sure he can get the block.

I remember Dream saying how Rudy T taught him the concept of staying down becuz it leaves you out of position and too many fouls are called.

Anyway the days of underating players because they don't play in the NBA are long gone breh, that's talk from the 90s. You act like Spain was three players :snoop:

woah, hassan may need improvement on defense but he's still very good...just needs some tweaks to be great. since january the heat have the 2nd best defense in the league with hassan on the floor. hassan has improved a lot over the course of the season. but yea, being coached by the worst coach in the league definitely doesn't help.

I would have to say Rudy Gobert is a better player. There has to be a reason Miami is okay with allowing Hassan Whiteside to leave. There is something Miami isn't telling us.:jbhmm:

Where the fukk u heard Miami is ok with whiteside leaving? U nikkas love making up lil theories n shyt then presenting them as fact. Whiteside has an offensive game. Rudy doesn't. Hassan is better. Both are great.
