Umm...the league has the resources for addressing mental health. I'm not sure it's utilized by the players though, and I'm not sure exactly how one reaches out. But it is on the players. Several players had psychiatrists, and for some it wasn't enough. But he'll, even Ron Ron had a shrink traveling with the team.

Anxiety is tough and I deal with it as well, as I'm sure many coli brehs do. Most forums like this are an outlet for dudes who have or had anxiety.

At the end of the day though, as hard as it is to deal with anxiety, especially with what I imagine to be a grueling work schedule playing in the NBA, it's just something you have to overcome. Anxiety is best dealt with by actually dealing with it, and not using it as an excuse to not be available. That just makes it worse to be honest. Just push through the tough days and it gets easier. Royce was young and I'm sure in some ways he knows he could've handled the whole situation a lot better himself as well. The NBA pays damn well too, so you gotta be an employee that lives up to that pay grade standard, I feel like anyway.

LeBron has tried to get Melo on the Lakers, the dude has pulled every move that he did in Cleveland with his soft ass IG recruiting, etc. Lakers just don't want him.


Dudley is a guy who knows his role on a team and that is why he's still playing. Melo is easily more talented. But Dudley won't complain or cry if he doesn't get mins, Dudley's teammates will always love him and there is value in that.

Royce cant even stay in Big 3 without getting ejected, and him calling out Dudley and calling Channing Frye names wont change that.
