Royce comes off as a rather intelligent man, in my view.

I'm not about to listen to 15 minutes of Royce White juelzing and hating

I remember him not wanting to play in the D League because it's d-league and not because of mental health.

I remember him not wanting to see a psychiatrist because it wasn't his own doctor.

I remember him wanting Rockets to sign a contract he came up with.

Of course I know some of this may have been Rockets' PR spin but they had an incentive to make it work with him. They wasted a 16th pick on him and tried to salvage the situation. You saw what happened when he was on Kings and Clippers, they bushed him right away.

While he did have mental health concerns his main issue was that he is an a$$hole. And not talented enough to be that big of an a$$hole

Dude makes some valid points, mental health is a very serious thing that a lot of companies don't know how to take care of it properly.

That Malcolm X comparison is corny and no he don't have one of the most coveted skills in the game.

That comment on Kevin Love is spot on. They really out there promoting kevin as the face for this mental health shyt They blackballed Royce made him look like a total distraction to the league, and to earn some extra points from gullible people now they pretending they are working on mental health issues with kevin

I'm not missing the point. Dude said if his anxiety is acting up and his psychiatrist says he shouldn't play a game that night then he shouldn't have to play even tho his body is 100% good....I disagree with him on that.


If one of my employees say they can't come to work because of their anxiety and a client is relying on their expertise I'm going to fire that employee for someone that is reliable and that can perform.

why is the bolded wrong? nikkas get to take games off for physical rest, why not mental rest? Thats the whole point, sports doesn't look at physical and mental health the same. As long as a man is able to physically play then nothing else matters. Thats what leads to nikkas getting fukked up in the head.

Good point... But this isn’t an NBA thing... America has a negative attitude against mental health issues(especially in the work place) in general.... if you work for a Fortune 500 Corp... or extremely competitive financial institution, telling your boss you need a few days off for mental reasons is going to get you looked at sideways..... just look at Silicon Valley... that’s a great example of the dismissive attitude towards mental health when it comes to their employees
