tbf they used their 1st on RT, and 2nd & 3rd round picks on the DL. Rookies take time to develop. It would have been nice to add some more pieces in FA tho
They traded down and passed on a generational DT prospect
That was crazy
They literally traded down from 1 and has the best player in the draft fall right into their lap and they passed on him. Not acceptable

It’s not so much lazy. Since I’ve watched him play I’ve always felt like he’s just too nonchalant out there in his movements
I had the same sentiment from watching over the years. The sense of urgency isn't there sometimes with Fields. I used to cringe when he would casually step out of bounds a yard or 2 short on running plays that just looked like he lacked awareness and pace. Like... breh fukking move.

Same shyt with some of those drop backs and throwing windows. Throw the damn ball
:snoop:

That QB School video's recap at the end sums up my thoughts entirely. Fields is a dynamic athlete that needs to be used as a dual threat. That's when he's looked the best throwing also. I have no idea why the Bears kicked this season off not using him like they were last season. It's malpractice.

The playcalling and design is awful overall, and it magnifies the misses when Justin actually does have opportunities in the pocket. If they don't flip the offense back to what it was later in the season last year next week, there's going to be a lot of frustration and pitchforks for everybody involved.

Last season it took the national media ripping the organization after losing to Washington on a boring ass Thursday Night Football game before the offense was actually tailored around Fields. They better do that shyt next week and build that way. shyt made no sense. The first drive of the game was comical.

Might have to update the thread title. It's not even progressions he's missing, he's taking sacks with his #1 option wide open with huge windows to throw in.

He's not seeing anything right now
