Crooked I is a great verse spitter and freestyler but his song writing ability aint all that.
thats why I have even Ab Soul over Ras as well.
u lost me here. Rass does good songs. But even on the West Coast, you got Locsmith, Heiro, Pac Div, Kendrick, Blu, Fashawn....all people that can spit and make better songs than Crooked I.

Narrative Skills/song writing/subject Matter ideas are all parts of the art of lyricism and thats what Crooked I lacks a bit. Thats why his only success is with Slaughterhouse cause he can just stick what what he does best and that is juat to spitting sick as verses. kinda like inspectah deck's role in Wu-Tang
