I’m broke, I make 30k yearly in ohio…. Like I said dumb ass even if I could afford 55k a month I would never do it. I couldn’t justify spending that much money when I could actually help people . Now get my dikk out your mouth and enjoy your boring ass day.

I stopped doing squats and deadlifts when I hit 28.

Back then I was working out in the gym late night around 12am and I would be in there at the same time as some older brothers who was retired, and I would chop up game with them about life and other things.

One day I was doing legs and hitting my squats and one of the brothers pulled me aside and told if I want to be in a wheelchair or on crutches when I get old keep doind sqauts, those squats mess up your knees and hips.

I remember a couple years ago these clowns who call themselves gym influence were all talking about heavy sqauts and you should be squatting, and now they do not even do squats anymore, because they were fukking themselves up.

Now in the gym the squat and leg area is empty, because people were fukking themselves up.

Looking back when I played football, we barley did squats and deads
Terrible advice plenty of people squatting with old age

So do you entirely skip leg day? Most of your power comes from your core and legs.

As you get stronger and older, it's harder to detect what your body can and can't withstand.

When you young, sure, knock yourself out.

What does that have to do with it? Some people get lifetime shoulder injuries from benching 185 :heh:
An 800 lb squat to Ronnie might be the equivalent of a 300lb squat to an average joe.

So is the Smith machine safer for squats than free standing?
I don’t think so. I always heard smith machine squats are worse because it locks you into a specific range of motion.
