Negative young man. Straight assumption on the part of Vic.

We know the hid in there because he was wounded from the night before and had NO weapon.

He had no weapons and was wounded.
http://boston.cbslocal.com/2013/04/...-that-boston-marathon-bombing-suspect-hid-in/

Don't know if you realized this, but when the suspects saw their pictures posted by the FBI, they went ahead to commit more violence, not run away.

I don't follow. how do we know he hid there because he was wounded?

it even says he "hid on the boat after nearly a day on the run"

How is that assumption? If there wasn't a heavy police presence that had barricaded the town off, he would be laying in someone's boat in their backyard?, lol. He would've done what every other fugitive does...run. There's reasons to be troubled about the martial law that was put in place, but let's be serious here.

I mean, it is an assumption. You have no way to prove that is what happened and it doesn't match the behavior of the suspect.

Why didn't they run after the bombing? Why didn't they run after the picture was posted? It seemed that they sought a violent confrontation with police. My assumption, judging by the facts we have now, is that this a$$hole was wounded, had no weapon, and was trying to recover somewhere in hiding. Matter of fact, if people were free to walk around the streets, they might have spotted him earlier.

Not ruling out your scenario entirely, but it's still your guess.

I don't understand what you are asking, I apologize for my ignorance. Can you restate your question?

The blood trail was present on the boat before the shooting I posted above occurred. We know the suspect had no weapons in the boat and did not try to commit suicide (per state officials).

It's technically an assumption. Sort of like it's an assumption that if you find condoms in your wife's purse, she's fukking another dude.

on the flipside, if he got away and/or set another bomb off or something everyone would be pissed off and wondering why they didn't do more to apprehend him.

and of course, guys like thekingsmen would insinuate that the government "let" him go or some shyt.

The problem is not the police presence, but the style of the presence, the "makeup" of the force and essentially threatening people with arrest or contempt for stepping outside of their own property. It's essentially imprisoning someone against their will, which is against the law.

Like I asked daze23, what if you live on one side of town, and you have an elderly family member or mom, and you wish to go keep them company? What happens if I want to leave the town because I fear crossfire even in my own home?

This "what if they got away" screams of George Bush/ Post 9-11 rhetoric that we have had 10 years to know is extreme nonsense.

if you look on the map, he made it about as far as he could staying in residential areas. any further, and he would have been in what looks like a commercial area, and/or have to cross major streets. and then past that, water. back the way he came wasn't a good option either. he was also far enough that he was out of the range where they were searching, knowing he was probably on foot (he was seen abandoning the vehicle after his brother got deaded. again, probably because he knew he didn't stand a chance in a car with the heavy police presence). I guess you can fault them for not searching that far, but you gotta stop somewhere

he ditched the car, and got about as far as he could on foot, without going into an area where there was a great chance of being seen

They stayed in the area like nothing happen. If they really wanted to leave..they would have left a long time ago.

Again why wait until Thursday night to leave town?

I don't see how me dying so you can go see your jump off is fair.

I don't see how my tax money going to support your zionist homeland so you can fly there for summers to eat the finest kosher onion bagels known to man while sustaining an apartheid nation is fair.
