This team is exceptional, and so are the Heat and Spurs from from few years ago as well. That Spurs team was incredible on offense, would the Bulls sweep them too? Do they just go about sweeping every team that has ever existed, even though they too were in close series with some squads that weren't necessarily that great.

The NBA is different now, the Bulls didn't have a big man and they didn't hit threes at a decent clip with the current three point line. They never had to guard anyone that would basically need to be picked up 30 feet from the rim, I'm asking for X's on O's on how they beat them, not the standard "will to win" stuff, do they trap Curry at halfcourt? They can't cover everyone if they do that, do they go over the screens and pray that his shooters are off?

If someone said the 82-83 Sixers could beat the Bulls this board would flip out, yet there's never a problem when it comes to the idea that teams from the past could beat teams from the present, even though teams from the present are doing things that those squads from the past didn't have to account for.

I think the Bulls would have a harder time with the Spurs than they would with the Warriors.I think they're perfectly built to handle the Warriors.

They have two, long defenders on the perimeter to throw at Steph & Klay.I'd just have MJ press Steph.

Klay's not going to do anything against Pip or Harper.

Rodman could definitely shut down Draymond.Draymond wouldn't even be able to penetrate, so there would be no rolling to the rim.

The only player the Bulls would have trouble containing 1 on 1 would be Steph. And Steph has never faced a defender like MJ.

It's like the Bulls have 3 Deion Sanders out there. They can just play man up and not have to worry about their man getting past them. It'll be a straight lock down on Klay & Green......and I like my chances with MJ on Steph.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
All the bulls would have to deal with is curry. The other splash brother and Barnes gonna be too busy getting turned out on defense, Rodman would have Green getting thrown out of games for technicals, and the bulls had the better trump card in Jordan.

I stand by the Bulls sweep :ehh:

The Bulls couldn't sweep the Sonics, I'm supposed to believe they'd do it to a better team in the Warriors?

Everyone wants to point out how the Cavs took them to 6, but fail to realize the Cavs are a team that relies heavily on the three.

it wouldn't be a sweep. anyone taking that seriously is crazy. they wouldn't sweep the Spurs(2013/2014) or the Heat(2012/2013)

I am a Jordan stan to my core, and I loved those Bulls teams. it would be a great matchup. I could def see Phil using aggressive traps on Steph and forcing Klay, Iggy, or Draymond to beat them. although the bulls could switch everything and still be fine.

and far as the Warriors stopping the Bulls, I don't know that would be able to stop jordan and pippen from getting to the basket. I know Draymond is a good defender, but he ain't stopping those guys

Pippen during that team wasn't a great offensive threat, his playoff numbers weren't mindblowing, during the three peat he was 17.6ppg 7.4rpg 5.0apg 2.1spg but the trouble is that he shot .408 and .293 from three, the terrible three point shooting comes with the shortened line during 2 of those seasons.

They'd definitely be able to stop Pippen from getting to the rim, they'd basically give him open threes and play far off him. People aren't realizing what they're seeing with this Warriors team, they swarm on defense and take away driving lanes & it's pretty obvious the team was built with the Heat and Thunder in mind where they have guys that can switch on defense so that nobody is ever left on an island.

I wonder how many years it's going to take until Michael Jordan discussions can be had with objectivity instead of rose colored glasses

The high pick and roll, man...How would the Bulls stop it?

Steph warps the defense 25-30 feet out.
Jordan gonna fight the screen, but Curry has enough space to shoot the 3 so Rodman hedges out to trap/show, so Curry hits Draymond at the top of the key. Then the Warriors are playing 4 on 3 with shooters in the corners.

No team has been able to stop this simple shyt from the Warriors and they have gotten better since the Finals.

The Bulls wouldn't know how to guard Steph with all their other shooters and playmakers on his team.

only because he choose not to shoot 3s. he is the GOAT after all.

Jordan even said himself back then that he didn't like to shoot 3s because it was a low percentage shot. But the whole league except teams like the suns and rockets didn't shoot a bunch of threes.

But they would have adjusted. This is like saying well Montana didn't pass back in the day like Manning does now. Well of course passing that much wasn't encouraged. If a coach passed 60 times and ran 15 times in a game the media would kill him in the press the next day. That is not even talking about the rule changes.
