:francis:vinyl all sold out, I was doubting too much. Unless they repress it I won't get it, not gonna pay a ridicilous discogs price.
Maybe if I get a good price for my extra 50 Round Drum sealed copy:lolbron:

'99 - '04 Alchemist was God-tier, arguably GOAT hip-hop production. Nobody was fukking with him at that time. Don't know what the fukk happened, but he hasn't been the same since. Seeing "Produced by Alchemist" used to be an instant "drop everything you're doing right this minute and go cop or listen to this song" type of feeling. Al ain't wack by any means, but he hasn't been on that level in over 15yrs.

Anyway, I knew next to nothing about Rome before this thread. Been out the loop for a bit on some of these newer NY underground acts, but I'm feeling everything I've heard so far. And Muggs never disappoints.

This might be my favorite Muggs collab album since Grandmasters and Pain Language:patrice:

I know it may seem like some prisoner of the moment shyt, but I just think Rome is such a more accessible emcee than some of the cats that Muggs has done projects with, like Mach or Crimeapple, and to a lesser extent Meyhem or Eto. I like Mach and Muggs, but I can’t just listen to Mach anytime.

I need to listen to the ones with GZA and Planet Asia again. But this is definitely the best one I’ve heard in a loooong time.

Muggs and Rome got the kind of chemistry that Alchemist had last year with Boldy on Tea in China. That album and this one don’t sound the same, but they still remind me if each other.
