Real talk - especially as the entertainment industry outside Vince's bubble of anachronism is trending towards diversity now, more than it has in years.
But yeah - this is pretty much the answer I would expect from someone who has had the support of the back office for three Mania's straight, and lacks the self awareness to realize he's fortunate.

Roman is tripping on this. Everyone who watches WWE for any amount of time knows that Vince loves guys who are white (or racially ambiguous), over 6 feet, and built like bodybuilders.

I definitely don't.
The problem with his statement is that he could be telling the truth from HIS perspective, but without realizing that his perspective is an exception and not the rule, he's doing a disservice to guys that look like him and guys that kinda look like him. He's clearly the biggest example of "chosen one" in WWE history and some doors others don't even get to SEE were standing wide open for him as he was standing on the moving walkway called his career.

Right. I don't think Roman was just towing the company line, but really giving a genuine answer from his unique vantage point.
Problem is that was a loaded question and not one Reigns has, to this point, demonstrated he would have been capable of answering in a way that was both honest to an extent and kept WWE brass off his back. He was out of his depth. I commend him for being genuine, at least. Can't hold that against the guy.
