I haven't read through the thread like that, but I really can't stand when Roman talks about Punk, because he always comes off as incredibly bitter for almost no reason. If he's still twisted up about the Art of Wrestling interview, Punk didn't even really insult him in it; if anything, he went at the agents for over emphasizing the need to keep Roman strong (which, by the way, is one of the main reasons his babyface push failed for 6 years running).
It doesn't even matter that Roman's mostly correct about Punk, Cena, and Rock (the only thing I would contest is saying that Punk wasn't as good or as over as Cena. The former is wrong and the latter can be contested, especially given how Punk was booked at times during his reign). Hell, Punk himself begged to put over Cena at WrestleMania and ended up getting over his concerns about The Rock. Every time Roman speaks up about him it just comes off as sour grapes about Punk not needing WWE to stay relevant and confirming how manufactured and overdone his initial push was. He should stop talking about Punk and what he's doing and focus on the quality work he's been doing these past few months.
I didn't even get into the massive stooge element of this, either. Looks like they're still mad about losing that lawsuit, in addition to his (probably) showing up in AEW tonight.
