I’m not even sure how it’s point scoring. This is really all further proof that things liberals believe in have been a complete failure for this country. Leftists were right when they freaked out and warned everyone about a trump presidency and what that meant for the country and liberals told them they were “overreacting”. Liberals have been wrong about everything up to this point. They swore by the political process and incremental change when that shyt was clearly failing and not addressing wide spread human suffering

The party should’ve moved further left decades ago. This is the result of people losing faith in the entire political process due to almost never receiving material benefits from participating in the process and allowing right wingers to constantly control the messaging with zero aggressive push back. It’s also the result of valuing civil discourse over anything that actually matters. You can’t be civil with fascists they literally only respond to aggressive forceful push back

They keep stripping peoples rights, people keep not being able to afford rent, people keep seeing their quality of life declining etc. What is the breaking point for the American population because voting at this point at getting anything done. Especially in red states. Gutting the VRA was the first step because republicans knew they’d get push back once they started down the Extremist Christian Fundamentalist path. Most people ain’t fukking with that but you can’t remove most of these people now

So that’s pretty much the only path forward as I see it other than obviously doing things in ur own community
