I agree with the overall sentiment but just wanted to say that IMO Jimmy Dore isn't actually a progressive. He functions as a vessel to move people to the right. He, Tulsi Gabbard, and a few others just end up repeating standard right wing talking points. Jimmy Dore has also heavily leaned into the right wing anti-vaxx grift.

The “states rights” party are going to have to use federal power to actually make a true change. People aren’t as immobile as they used to be.
