There was a reason they picked that game to be free.

Seriously though, Kiwami is pretty much one to one remake of the first original ps2 game. They just slammed 0's fight system on top and it feels clunky in that game for some reason. I mean it's not a terrible game, but out of all the recent Yakuza games it felt the most clunky and dragged on.

Yakuza 0 is only like 19 bucks. I would urge you to put kiwami on hold and play 0 instead. I only played Kiwami after 0 because I wanted to get through the story and like I said, Kiwami 2 is a much more polished remaster and they integrated 6's fight system into that well enough.
