That pipebomb crap is corny

Anyone couldve been sent out there to say what the internet thinks of hhh

Exactly, shoot promos should never ever be ranked as high as a good kayfabe one. Punk is awesome on the mic but it's honestly not that impressive to go out and list all the IWC complaints.

I say Savage overall, but 1980's Hogan specifically because if you go back and listen to those promos he really made it seem like he was some kind of superhero that was powered by the hopes of the Hulkamaniacs and his matches would cause cataclysmic natural disasters that would change the Earth permanently.

It was the perfect mix of coke and steroids.

I disagree, the pipe bomb promo single handily got people talking about and watching wrestling again, myself included. That right there makes it a classic promo, that's the point of a good promo.

If you gotta choose c'tween Hogan and Savage you gotta pick Hoegan by default because he talked people into spending money more than anyone besides Austin and Dwayne

Damn its a toss up between Macho and Jake

I know Jake didnt have any trademark catchphrases or animated posturing but his way with words was on some surpreme actor/lyrcist shyt
For me it's a toss-up between savage and Vince.

I legit can't decide...savage is easily my favorite wrestler ever. His mania v promos and his work vs ddp and vs Hogan within the nWo, was low key incredible.

Vince has phenomenal promos everywhere Including the work in Memphis (DEATH...TAXES....AND RANDY SAVAGE :demonic: ) and he is pretty flawless on the mic, selling a match, event, or character.

They are both a level above everyone including Jake to me. Jake is my #7 below those four and these 2.

I'll take Punk in the top 5 with Rocky, Savage, Austin and Flair.

He's the only guy in the last 10 years to go out there and have truly iconic promos. Today, there is no kayfabe is draw in new viewers and he understood how to take advantage of that. The best indy guy in an indy world. I enjoy his promos more than I did a Dusty or a Hogan, more courageous and crafty when blurring lines and making me suspend belief.

+ Dude had bangers pre-Pipebomb.
