Id have to thnk about it....never thought Hogan or Dusty were that great on the mic....and Flair tbh i thought wasnt great early in his WWF career and i didnt follow WCW when he was in his prime...so that will affect my top 5.

I really...really encourage you to look up 85-91 flair. Legitimately the greatest of all time.

I know Jake didnt have any trademark catchphrases or animated posturing but his way with words was on some surpreme actor/lyrcist shyt

Jake is one of the few wrestlers alive whose promos, either as a face or heel, make me go ...only a person with serious pain or issues can deliver his type of promos

Jericho and Piper never cut a promo as groundbreaking and impactful as the pipebomb promo.

Hogan's promos didn't have as much depth as Punk's.

This is almost neg worthy breh.

The Pipebomb didn't draw a single dime. It was a good promo but carried by the smarkyness of it and the idea it was a "shoot". If that is his best promo, he isn't on the level of many...

Are u freaking serious? Arn Anderson is one of the best on the mic. Just cause you don't have a whoo or a oooh yeah or if you smell type of catchphrase doesn't mean u arent great on the mic. The whole point is to get people to listen and sell what u are saying. Arn is definitely top 5.

Arn was believable but he didn't draw money. When you hear guys like Arn making a threat, you believe it, but when you hear guys like Austin or Jake making a threat, you believe it and want to see it.

To me flair hulk mach rock and dusty are the tops of charisma/mic work mt rushmore. Austin would just get edged out but i cant put austin over hulk and randy whos careers twice as long in multiple eras. Macho just goes without saying and everyone knows how to do a hulk and macho promo without even thinking. That and i hated "what?"
