I don’t think of, or hear Kool Keith when I listen to Roc

Marci himself says Keith was a huge influence on his style, and that he caught on to DOOM late.

Off a couple listens, would say it's worst along side Marci Beacoup. Also, don't like to harp on this but the way he cheaps out on mixing/mastering is really frustrating.

Haven't heard this one yet, but was listening to Rosebudd 1 & 2 again today. Those albums really deserve remasters. Reloaded is so crisp and well balanced in terms of vocals vs instrumentals, I never understood why it couldn't be like that afterwards.

All these dudes realized they could save money by having these albums mixed low budget. Check the production credits on Marcberg & Reloaded. Him/Fat Beats had top talent mastering them.

Low key, certain bytches fukk with this shyt. I was in Dykman last night with Richard gear on full blast, the mami outside was vibin to it. Ol girl told me the song sounds sexy and different. Now that I'm thinking about it, this nikka is one of the few that's considered goon rap but can still b played around the opposite sex at times, at least on some lounging vibe type shyt. Sun music got too much sauce n aura 4 bytches 2 front. Over the weekend I had a shorty and 2 of her friends in the v with me, smoke boxing, the Marci mix I had on made em go "who that" . I asked them if they wanted 2 switch speeds(bluffin)& they was basically na this is str8. When the sequence of Burkina faso, kill you, Joe jackson, love means, Tek 2 a mak was over, these bytches hit up Google quick fast. shyt legit had me like . Not saying they bonafide fans, but they tapped in now. Shorty texted me this morning 2 ask about one of the tracks off the mix 2 download it. This been happening 4 some years now too, just sporadically. Ya think this nikka could bridge that goon 2 industry gap? Griselda kind of is but that's different......

I'm tryna tell em fam. One of the joints in the v even told me all that shyt nikkas b bumping is cool(gunna,lilbaby,youngboy,aboogie etc) but it all sounds pretty much the same 2 her. So 4 her it was refreshing 2 hear nikkaz actually spit and sound masculine (her words).
