That person is obviously a psycho which is why I didn’t even entertain his other delusional posts. Lol

I love the first Rosebudd, second best album of 2017 behind Hegelian Dialectic, but the mix is atrocious.I think it's better. I really liked Dark Horse for a lot of reasons but in large part because of how diverse it sounds. Almost felt like most of the beats were chosen because similar rappers aren't rapping over shyt like that. Whereas this album feels like Roc mixing up his chambers. There's the classic soul loops, some left shyt nobody is rapping over, plus some VERY dark grimy beats.
BTW that Alchemist beat is basically what I thought the Muggs album would sound like. That dark...Muggs shyt lol. Kaos isn't a bad album but it was disappointing as fukk when you consider the hype we had based off the first single and how perfect of a duo they seemed to be on paper. That being said it still has multiple dope tracks. IMO Roc doesn't really have a bad album...even the first Rosebud, which I refuse to revisit due to the mix....is not a bad album, music wise.
I would not call Roc DOOM's son though.Truth.
I was just about to post this. It definitely all starts with DOOM.
Joe Jackson is fire
Whats y’all favorite beat?
I feel its between joe jackson and choosin fees
You mean KAOS or Dark Horse? Not sure if I like this yet. His previous LP was way better.
I may not be able to make that call until we get to 2020.I'm gonna spend a lot of time this weekend continuing to appreciate this album...and then I'm gonna revisit Bandana and determine which is better. Right now my rap AOTY battle is between Danny Brown (U Know What I'm Sayin) and Billy Woods (Hiding Places) and I don't expect that to change...however I wanna determine who had the best grimy/goon/dust/etc rap album. Both Gibbs and Roc gonna be in my top 5 regardless unless something crazy happens.
I haven't listened to Bandana in a long time.
ITs too early for me to rank Marcielago, but for everything else I'd sayKOAS is decent...
RR1, RR2, BADH & Marcielago are all great albums...
But so far Bitter Dose is the best out the bunch for me, this new joint might be running it close though...
RR1 had a lot of filth on there though brehs, i ran it back few weeks ago...
Move Dope, History, Marksman, Here I Am, Rosebudds Revenge, Pig Knuckles, Burkina Faso, No Smoke, Better Know & Killing Time...
The only thing Roc has going against him is that he has zero mainstream recognition.I'm not even talking subjectively, this is straight facts. His shyt is street literature. You could put Roc's discography up against any legend's and it will stand. The consistency is unprecedented. Benny is a close 2nd when it comes to consistency. Never heard a wack verse from these nikkas ever
Give it a few spins, if you haven't already.Eh, not feeling this one tbh.
This is fair somewhat, but Benny does switch it up here and there. Legendary GOON SQUAD poster @TheDarceKnight has posted videos showing this time and time again. And even if he's using the same flow 75% of the time, it doesn't bother me in the slightest and it doesn't detract from his music at all.The thing I love about Roc is that while he clearly has his signature style that we all know, he's also able to switch his flow up. Especially on this album where the beat switches and he starts rapping up beat or to the drums. Whereas while I'm sure Benny can switch his flow up, he's been stuck in a very predictable pattern for awhile. You kinda know exactly how he's gonna rap on most tracks. He's still dope though.
