It makes sense, though. Fans buy direct, they way more than turn a profit. Streaming, they're getting pennies on the play.

Off a couple listens, would say it's worst along side Marci Beacoup. Also, don't like to harp on this but the way he cheaps out on mixing/mastering is really frustrating.

I actually thought this and Dark Horse had better mixing than Rosebudd 1 and 2. Those had the worst IMO.

Reloaded sounded perfect so I don't get that the issue is/was.

I would not call Roc DOOM's son though.
Sure he was influenced by him...he has many influences. But he really crafted his own lane.

And he has actual progeny that sprung from that lane that he crafted.
When Marcberg dropped nobody was calling him DOOM's son.

Yeah and I'm pretty sure Roc didn't catch on to DOOM until after Marcberg dropped.

I definitely like Marcielago more than KAOS. I can’t say it’s better than Dark Horse, I need more time with it.

That's my thoughts too. I wasn't the biggest KAOS fan actually. I think Marcielago is maybe better lyricaly than Dark Horse, and definitely a little bit more dense and complex. But I like the short run time on Dark Horse and some of the production maybe just a little more than Marcielago. Tough call.

I definitely think Marcberg and Reloaded are their own things, with one being a progression of the other.

Marci Beacoup and Pimpire Strikes Back seem similar to me. Rosebudd 1 and 2 seem similar. And Dark Horse and Marcielago seem similar.

KAOS and Greneberg sort of seem to be their own individual things.
