DOOM's fingerprints are on everything from the goons to the nerds. Listen to Roc, Ka, Earl and you hear DOOM. The samples they use, the loops, and song structure is DOOM. The lazy flow they use is all DOOM. You can't be above DOOM in terms of influence.

Truth.

I was just about to post this. It definitely all starts with DOOM.

Just keeps getting better and better. I'm not gonna put it ahead of "Behold A Dark Horse" yet but this is right there, especially with his pen, if not better

I think it's better. I really liked Dark Horse for a lot of reasons but in large part because of how diverse it sounds. Almost felt like most of the beats were chosen because similar rappers aren't rapping over shyt like that. Whereas this album feels like Roc mixing up his chambers. There's the classic soul loops, some left shyt nobody is rapping over, plus some VERY dark grimy beats.

BTW that Alchemist beat is basically what I thought the Muggs album would sound like. That dark...Muggs shyt lol. Kaos isn't a bad album but it was disappointing as fukk when you consider the hype we had based off the first single and how perfect of a duo they seemed to be on paper. That being said it still has multiple dope tracks. IMO Roc doesn't really have a bad album...even the first Rosebud, which I refuse to revisit due to the mix....is not a bad album, music wise.

I say this im a good way

If roc lost all of marcberg and had to redo the whole shyt then this would be it. It has that same vibe through and through . I feel this is his best album since reloaded. Outstanding work .
