I want that too. Madlib just dropped an album and I think he's dropping another with MED. He's doing projects with people I like, but man...like you said, someone like Roc, or the Pusha T album, or something with a few higher profile artists would be really dope. Even just on the indie scene.

Agreed on the Mt Marci beats. And then some joints on there barely sounded like music to me at all. I respect the creativity but I was lost in places. This one stands out.

I will, to the day I die, deny the existence of that song.
Barring that nonexistent song that must have been created by AI software, Mt Marci, classic should have went triple

It’s growing on me as such a seamless listen. So smooth and the transition into Quantum Leap is Godly

I wouldn’t say Roc’s pen is sharpest here, his flow is good, but it’s a great continuation of both of their catalogues

That JJ Flash beat is crazy. Alc and Roc flow together almost too normally. I think that’s why on his regular albums their joints are always a highlight.

Behold is still what I would consider his best album. That and Pimpire are the best combination of his quotes and his flow without being too out there

I’m gonna continue to bump. I also feel like we got some deeper Roc with the “momma I’m hiding from the mirror” “I seen a lot as a child, I was traumatized” and the line about his pops’ arm

Can’t wait to see what this decade has in store for these guys. Hopefully a Ka collab album soon

But I think the Elephant beats are more “interesting” if that makes sense. It’s just straight ear candy. And From a technical perspective there’s noting on TT4 that’s as intricately chopped up as JJ Flash. That’s some Dilla Donuts shyt.

My bad I jumped in that conversation But you’re right. That beat is great as is most of the production. Alchemist is at such a level right now it’s hard to be critical but I’m just comparing him vs himself!
