Damn good album. Does it match the lofty expectations I had for the album, going back to the Reloaded era where we all thought a Roc/Alch album was coming soon? No. In some ways I kinda respect this more because Alch could have easily just did a bunch of soul loops and called it a day, but instead he put on a production clinic. The chops in JJ Flash def remind me of Dilla, Quantum Leap gives me 90s Muggs vibes in terms of the way he's got so many samples piled on top of each other. And of course we got some dope piano shyt but even that doesn't sound like standard Alch piano beats. Also at this point I think it's safe to say Alch is on another level of a lot of this straight forward loop shyt from people like Nicholas Craven. I'm not hating on that style, but at some point you want some advancement. Evolution. Progression. I love what Alch has done with this, and the recent Boldy albums.

Rap wise Marci is sharp as fukk on many if not most tracks, but there are some where lyrically he's off to me. Couple tracks I'm not really into, like the Ice T one. But overall he's on point here. Love hearing Roc take his well deserved victory laps. He started this shyt. Give the man his credit. I wish Ka was on this album too btw.

Liquid coke :ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd:Zip gun/jj flash/bubble bath/trillion cut among others:whew:this to me is default the best roc marci album since reloaded. Alc came thru on the boards it’s nice to hear drums.

The intro is dope like most his other albums rubber band grip. :wow:

They aren't labeled as bonus joints, so you might have 'em. The last official track is called Think Big. And the two bonus joints are called Macaroni and Momma Love.

*looks around this forum*

So an all time bozo who made a bloated flop of an album flow-biting over reworked classic beats is stickied; a goofy bird announcing the demise of a gossip and PR radio show is stickied; a thread about a LOX single with 74 replies is stickied; a fukkin pop r&b album is stickied; and a washed up Fatlip reunion with the Pharcyde 20 years too late is stickied.

But a 540 reply thread for the new album from a dude who fathered an entire sub-genre of hip hop linking with an all time producing legend can't see a sticky.

@CSquare43 - you a mod in this forum? Y'all got a vendetta against Roc? Or just generally all-in on the shift to trash music?
