He couldn't handle Leonard's speed and ability, and somehow he's going to handle the master of the shoulder roll, the Don Dada of hit and don't get hit? Let's be reality here:

Lost to Leonard multiple times
Lost to Hector Camacho
Lost to Hagler
Lost to Benitez
Got KTFO by Hearns

What's his claim to fame, split decision fight with Barkley? The one person who could talk sh*t is Sugar Ray, not this guy. This guy would be saying no mas in the 5th round after whiffing against Money May. Let's not take what pundits say as facts, let's look at what he's actually done.

:what: Dude, you can't be serious. Floyd fights nothing like Leonard in relation to the "No Mas" (and there's a lot more to that than the actual fight, but I digress). Leonard was the complete package, speed, power, size, ring smarts, agility, and he was in his prime and Duran moved up two weight classes and gave Leonard his 1st loss. Floyd is a spot fighter who relies on one punch counters. Especially at Welterweight where Floyd isn't prime, he's gonna make Duran quit?

Also,What was wrong with him losing to Hearns or Hagler, or even Camacho when he fought them? How many fighters today would go undefeated against those 3 guys in their form when Duran fought them? And Benitez? Dude was one of the best Welterweights in that era. The problem with today's Boxing fan is they look down upon a fighter if he loses, but look at the losses and the quality of opposition.

I'd challenge anyone to give me 3 names Floyd has fought that even remotely compare to Hearns, Hagler, Camacho, Benitez when he fought them. This should be hilarious

:beli:

De La Hoya
Shane Mosley
JMM
Diego Corrales (R.I.P.)

You nikkaz pullin' lists off of ESPN and not verifyin' what's really the deal. Nikkas keep discrediting Floyd. Those guys are listed are multiple championship belt winners in different divisions, guys who at one point in their career were top 5 pound for pound. That's not even mentioning guys like Cotto, Hatton, Baldomir, and Judah, all great/former greats in their own right. A better question would be do you think Duran would go undefeated against the lineup Floyd has faced? :mjpls: If you say yes, then you are most definitely a stan.

You didn't answer the question. Do you think Duran would have fight the following guys without a loss:

Shane Mosley
JMM
Cotto
Baldomir
Judah
De La Hoya
Corrales

^^^^all these guys were top 5 pound-for-pound at the time of the fight. There's HOF boxers he beat that I'm not even including. Please tell me Duran would go 7-0 against these guys :pachaha:
